Britney: A new type of bombshell

I feel really bad for Britney Spears. That stated, we have got to talk about what's been happening with her. Did you hear what our girlfriend has been getting into these past couple weekends? There are so many stories surrounding what went down, it's hard to keep them straight.
The most sense I could make of the drama went something like this: Britney was supposed to return her kids to K-Fed last Thursday at 7 p.m., but when seven rolled around she wasn’t ready to say bye, thus compelling her to lock herself and her kids in her house. She wouldn’t let anyone in. Apparently Britney took over 100 pills in the 32 hours prior to the mayhem. She supposedly mixed downers like Vicodin and sleeping pills with uppers like Clenbuterol and Ritalin, and of course washed them down with bottles of Nyquil. The evening ended with Britney being strapped to a gurney and sent to a local hospital’s psychiatric department.
She returned home to Los Angeles where a mess of media waited outside her home to catch a glimpse of the former Princess of Pop. The buzz about Britney is really getting crazy. Web sites, such as www.WhenIsBritneyGoingToDie.com, are all over the Internet. This site allows visitors to guess the date and time of Britney’s death. The winner wins a PS3.
Britney Spears has gone from an American idol to the American joke. Spears was scheduled to appear on a special episode of “Dr.Phil,” but the plans have since been cancelled. Rumors say Britney is suffering from bipolar disorder and even multiple personality disorder. Let's hope this will pass and Britney can find a nice quiet place to settle down. I really don’t want her to be the next Anna Nicole. I hope no one gets the PS3.
And can you believe her sister is pregnant? The shock of Jamie Lynn’s pregnancy surprised us all, including her close family. Lynn Spears, aka their mom, was quoted saying she never expected Jamie Lynn to get pregnant because she was so courteous and “was never late for her curfew.” Apparently Jamie Lynn was breaking the rules before 11 p.m. The recent season finale of Spears’ “Zoe 101” pulled in 7.3 million viewers, almost double its usual audience. It looks like news about Jamie Lynn’s pregnancy hasn’t stopped her from having success on the TV screen. Let’s hope it continues in everything.
After all this I can definitely say I know way too much about the Spears family. Until Jamie Lynn has her baby, and unless Britney does something wild (who knows with that woman), I will try to steer clear of their stories. I think everyone needs to give this family a rest so they can work on mending their relationships and themselves. Britney, put the bottle down. Lynn, teach your child about safe sex.
