Celebrity sibs living up to family fame

Who else can say they took a bath with Britney Spears?
Okay, maybe a bad example, but this week I am talking about younger siblings in Hollywood. As a younger sibling myself, I thought it was time to take a look at the littler versions of some of our favorite stars and see what news they have made in the past week.
The first photographs of Jamie Lynn Spears with a very obvious baby bump have recently been published in US Weekly. It’s hard to imagine the girl is anything other than extremely bloated, but unfortunately we know this is untrue. Jamie Lynn and boyfriend Casey Aldridge are hiding out in their hometown of Kentwood, La., while Jamie Lynn carries their child.
I was completely shocked when the news of Spears' pregnancy arose, but the image in this photograph is exactly what you could expect from the most notorious family in the media. Spears and Aldridge are walking hand-in-hand from what looks like a gas station while Jamie Lynn sports a white Heineken T-shirt, ripped jeans and big silver hoop earrings.
Jamie Lynn, you are not old enough to be a mother, and you are certainly not old enough to drink, especially while pregnant. As the former star of a popular children's television show, Spears has apparently given up on trying to be a good role model for her young fans. Come on down to Kentwood for a Heiney and a pack of Marlboros, no condoms necessary.
Another of my favorite Hollywood siblings to follow is Aliana Lohan (aka Ali). This little Lohan is only 14 years old and is already planning her move to Hollywood. She was recently interviewed by Teen Vogue about moving up in the ranks of celebrity and expressed her eagerness to find fame.
The young star who looks more like 18 rather than 14 has already made a name for herself as Lindsay's hot young sister. A reality show is in the works to center around Aliana and mom/manager Dina as they manage two important acting careers (yes, Lindsay Lohan is still considered an "actress" even after "I Know Who Killed Me"). Aliana is also trying out for a role in "High School Musical 3," which if she scores, could be her ticket to tween stardom.
I hope Aliana has better luck than her sister at staying away from the demons of celebrity, but if I were a betting girl I'd put $20 on rehab in five years. Pessimistic? Unfortunately, realistic.
Rounding out the week of headline making younger siblings, Barron Hilton got a DUI. Paris' younger brother was caught driving with twice the legal amount of alcohol in his eighteen-year-old system. Barron is also being charged with reckless operation for apparently striking a gas station attendant with his Mercedes.
I give credit to parents Cathy and Rick Hilton who reportedly refused to pick Hilton up from jail, wanting him instead to learn his lesson. Luckily Hilton's friends bailed him out and he was able to leave the jail early that morning.
We are so lucky that these people stepped up and made some news this week so that we could all be entertained. These smaller versions of my favorite celebrities pack just as much excitement in their famous family bones and are ready to make a scene in Hollywood. You know they always say the youngest is usually the most fun.
