Get what you really want out of Valentine's Day this year with Speakeasy's play list to set the perfect, scintillating mood.

Valentine's Day means flowers, chocolates, dinner and movies for those lucky, or unlucky, enough to have someone to share the day with. But seriously, these empty gestures don’t fool anyone. Once the dinner is over, the chocolate is gone and the last drip of wine is swallowed, the lights will be nonchalantly turned down, and every couple out there will be begging for some primal pleasure.

Say what? Partner not so willing to let the inhibitions go, turn on the heat and take off the clothes? Well, plug in these mellow mood-setters and let your dirty mind go crazy.

”Let’s Get it On” by Marvin Gaye

Yeah, it’s cliché, but this song works just as well as it did when your parents plugged it into their eight track. From the moment Marvin's smooth, deeply seductive voice belts out those first famous lines "I've been feeling fine baby," to the final, "Let's get it on," feel those notes that echo and resonate deep, deep down through each and every inch of tingling skin. This track is a sure-fire hit and a great game opener. Looks like someone just got to first base.

”Slow Dance” by John Legend

Take it down a notch with Mr. Legend himself. This smooth and extremely seductive track has a reggae backdrop with a beat that slides down every curve, hitting all the good spots on the way. Follow Legend's instructions to the perfect slow dance, horizontal or upright, your choice.

”Color Blind” by The Counting Crows

If the girls can overcome the haunting image of Ryan Phillippe getting hopelessly crushed in "Cruel Intentions" to this track, it transitions into an extremely enticing song. The tentative piano and haunting voice of front man, Adam Duritz, combine to form an irresistible and inviting track. Keep the foreplay going through this one, I dare you.

”Let's Get Drunk and Screw” by Jimmy Buffett

While not the most romantic song in the world, this one goes right for the gusto. No hidden meaning here. This may be a hit in the hills of Appalachia. It's catchy, quick and leaves nothing to the imagination. Leave the wine at home, grab a beer, maybe even a cheeseburger, and kick back with Jimmy’s sweet Southern drawl.

”Come Back to Bed” by John Mayer

If in fact the typical male in this web of seduction messes things up (whoa, big surprise) don't apologize, let John Mayer do it for you. He does it so well, employing his electric guitar to help beg his partner back into bed. Add in a pleading saxophone, John's sweet boyish charm and captivating lyrics, and that premature remark -- or whatever -- will be history.

”Sexual Eruption” by Snoop Dogg

This one is for the diggity-dawg in all y'all. Select song. Press play. Follow Snoop's instructions. "I'm gonna take my time/she gonna get hers before I get mine." Snoop knows where it's at. With a steady beat and a few rap riffs thrown in, Snoop is his suave self on this track. The title says it all. "Sexual Eruption" is not an abstract idea. Be careful with this one.

”T-shirt & My Panties On” by Adina Howard

This is a come hither song for the boys. Adina Howard has a sultry, provocative voice that is not shy. She has her T-shirt and her panties on and she does not want to be alone. Adina does not have a huge vocabulary throughout this song, but she sounds so sweet, saying the same seductive line over and over and over. This slow jam induces a gentle hip-popping, maybe even a second round of slow dancing.

”I Feel Like Making Love” by Bad Company

Long before Kid Rock came along and defecated all over this timeless tune, Bad Company got it right -- and sexy. Paul Rodgers (aka "The Voice") demands that what he is in the mood for becomes a reality, and who in their right mind would deny him? This rock 'n' roll, rough 'n' tumble throwback hit will definitely do the trick for anyone who is a sucker for the grunged-out rocker.

”Secret Garden” by Bruce Springsteen

Okay, it's over, you're done, if you have even made it this far. If either one of the people caught up in this torrid affair has ever seen Jerry Maguire, the moment Bruce starts his quiet seduction, you are done. Period. This song is romantic, it's sweet. It's Bruce Springsteen, "The Boss," and he says to explore the secret garden, so please do. "Secret Garden" starts slow and builds over the four minutes, 28 seconds it runs, and Rambo, you're not going to make it.

Now that you're all hot-and-bothered, the hard part may be finding someone to play these alluring hits for. No sweat, the bars should be crawling with depressed and lonely singles this Valentine's Day. Slide in next to one and ask if he or she would like to hear the best damn mix tape ever created, guaranteed satisfaction.

Now, our work is done. Once the play button is pressed, Speakeasy can go no further on this journey. We leave the rest in all of your capable (if you're lucky) hands.
